pPete Abel is a centrist Republican voter who grew so frustrated with divisive party politics he decided to do something about it.   He registered with the RLC earlier this year; made a contribution to our PAC; talked with and began supporting the efforts of the captain of the RLC chapter in his home state of Missouri – but he still felt there was more he could and should be doing. pPete saw that there are too few Republicans in office who will publicly take bold, centrist positions, because they just dont hear very often from centrist Republican voters, nor do they appreciate the quantity and passion of those voters. Accordingly, separate from his work with the RLCMissouri chapter, Pete penned a letter to GOP leaders.  Parts of that letter cite from Gov. Whitmans 2005 book, emIts My Party Tooem, and from Sen.
