Welcome to the Minnesota Chapter of the Republican Leadership Council
My name is Pat Lobejko and I am the state captain of the Republican Leadership Council for the Great State of Minnesota. I live in Hastings and am currently in Afghanistan serving in the United States Navy. I'm excited to be part of this organization to promote Republican core principles of fiscal responsibility and personal freedoms.
I strongly believe that a broader, more diverse party is a stronger party. One that is open to an array of opinions and doesn't use litmus tests for inclusion. Many on the far right have hijacked the Republican Party by pursuing a course of close mindedness and exclusionary tactics thus endangering the future of our party and our country.
2010 will be an important year for Minnesotans as all 201 seats in the Legislature will be contested. With the announcement that Governor Pawlenty will not seek a third term, the stakes have become much larger. With your volunteer efforts, we will promote and assist centrist-minded Republican candidates to ensure a return to the party's beliefs in smaller but effective government, individual rights, and a pragmatic approach to the environment.
I encourage you to join me and other RLC-PAC members in Minnesota. Whether it be volunteering your time, financial assistance, or becoming a candidate yourself, your help can bring back to the party of Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Eisenhower here in Minnesota. The time is now for moderate Republicans to stand up, speak up, and be heard.
Please feel free to contact me at minnesota@republican-leadership.com. If you would like to receive news, information, and have a place to share ideas and create an open dialogue on how to further advance the RLC's agenda here in Minnesota, please register on this sight.
Thank you.
Best Wishes,
Pat Lobejko
